With Trent doing rotations we were unsure of how much time we would get off this summer. Thankfully Trent rotation needed him on a day they had given him off so the following week he managed to get two days off. This is rare so we of course took those two days to go camping. Yay! It was great fun!
Boys love rocks. He couldn't help but pick up a lot of them.
This year Tanner was really excited about the tent. It thought it was a great play hut.
When dad started sawing the fire wood Tanner went over and put his leg on the log too. It always makes me happy to see Tanner copy something his Dad is doing. Thank goodness his dad is usually found doing good things :) It is crazy how much Tanner really does follow our example.
I love it when Trent cooks. I enjoy cooking, but some days it is nice to have two cooks in the family!
I put a million layers on Tanner before bed. This was taken the following morning. I don't think he was a fan of being a moving marshmallow...lol.
While we were getting the fire ready to cook breakfast Tanner enjoyed some pop-tarts. Thank goodness we brought those, or we might have had a very hungry upset boy in the morning. He loved eating them and he LOVED sitting in his personal camping chair (I love awesome yard sale buys).
