Moving!!!!

We had quite and adventure moving. We painted at our new house two different days the week before we moved it. It got a little crazy with trying to prep the new rental house and also packing up our stuff. Here is how bad the walls looked before we painted.

Tanner also helped me get the garden planted 2 days before we moved in.

Mom and dad were great to help come up the weekend we moved. Looks like some tired boys. Moving is hard work!

I had to take some pictures of our empty apartment before we moved. We have so many memories at this place. We lived in apartment 101, in the 100 court at the University Student Apartments for almost 4 years. We loved the community there and are going to miss it so much!

Goodbye living room...

Tanner saying goodbye to his room.

Goodbye tiny bathroom....I'm not sure I am going to miss you as much...haha.

Our empty room.

Can't believe we're moving on past this phase of our lives...goodbye pharmacy school!

We let tanner play one last time on the playground before we checked out. We are going to miss the convenience of having a playground just outside our door. Can you spot the Tanner?

He gave me a sweet flower...so thoughtful.

Jordan's UnBirthday - Happy 1st Year!

As time passes there are certain dates that are still hard. Jordan was due May 28th, if we had been blessed to have him here with us. This year he would have turned1 year old. To celebrate this hard day we had an "UnBirthday" Celebration.  We went to feed the ducks and enjoyed eating out together. We then sent off balloons with messages to Jordan. The baby ducks were so cute!

Tanner really enjoyed drawing on a balloon to send to Jordan.

I asked Tanner what he wanted to have me write to Jordan for him. All on his own he asked me to write. "Jordan I want a brother or sister."

Dad happened to have the same idea as Tanner.

Some of the balloons got stuck in the tree. Sadly we learned the hard way, that we shouldn't let the balloons go off so close to trees. Thankfully Tanner's balloon got sent through, we hope Jordan can work that one out for us.

Then we feed the ducks some more.

We also read "Are You My Mother?" That book is special to us, and connects us to Jordan so we thought it would be a good one to read during his "UnBirthday" Celebration. All in all it was a pretty special day for our family.
