Late snowfall = lets make a Snowman!

Trent and I were so excited to have some late snowfall this last Winter. We decided to go outside and make a snowman. It was ton of fun, for all of us. Tanner especially loved it!

Love this picture! Tanner fell down in the snow. I told him to stay there so I could take a picture. He looks so stinkin' cute!

We also decided to make a few snow angels :)

Tanner decided to throw snow on Dad while he was down...haha!

Dad got him back though...so it was ok ;)

Mommy Tanner Date

Occasionally I will take Tanner on a "Mommy Tanner Date." I sort of get a lot of one on one time with Tanner since he is our only living child, but it is nice to have an excuse every once in awhile to get out of the house and do something fun together and spend a little money. We typically have one when Dad has been gone a lot working or doing school stuff. It helps us stay sane!

Tanner drew this letter A all on his own and then got me to come and look at it. It is fun to see him want to learn things and actually apply what he is learning all on his own.

This is by far one of the funniest things Tanner has said. I wrote these numbers. Tanner pointed to the 3 and said, "Look McDonald's." Haha! He thought it was an M for McDonald's.

We went to a Salvadorian Restaurant for dinner and then fed the ducks.

This was a date during a different day. We went to a free day at Red Butte Garden's.

Then of course a different night we had popcorn and books before bed. Who doesn't LOVE popcorn. Tanner must be my son, he seems to enjoy it too!

Happy Easter 2015

We had a wonderful Easter Celebration! Tanner received a sweet bag full of goodies from Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson and the Easter Bunny came on Saturday and gave him a pirate puzzle and a Mickey Mouse game. He was one happy kid!

Tanner got a nap in during general conference. I guess that is okay since he's only two...right?

Then during the evening while the men were at priesthood the ladies partied it up and went swimming! We did a fun inside Easter Egg hunt when the men were done with priesthood.

I was able to get a way for a bit to enjoy the morning conference session with my friend Melissa. Her friend Summer, got us some amazing tickets down in the front center area. It was pretty much the coolest thing ever!

Then that evening we opened some Easter Eggs that had scripture references and we were able to talk about the resurrection and eat resurrection rolls.
