"Staycation"

Trent and I really wanted to get away and have a vacation when he graduated. With Job hunting and then the fact that we are poor pharmacy school graduates we decided to do a little "Staycation" instead. It turned out to be a lot of fun! I didn't know "Staycations" could be so fun! A BIG thank you to Trina Sharp for watching Tanner over night for us.

We enjoyed a bike ride along the lake.

That evening Trent and I went to the temple to do some sealings. Then we enjoyed dinner at "The Garden" restaurant in the Joseph Smith Memorial Building. Yummy food! And, since it was sort of a celebration for his graduation and my birthday they had balloons for us at our table. We were able to make wishes as they floated out the open roof. Both of our balloons made it out the roof, which means that both of our wishes will come true! I guess if they don't float out, and stay in the restaurant instead your wish doesn't come true...haha. Gland ours made it!

I love Trent's face in this one...haha.

There! Just right!

The next day was full of fun things. We went for a little walk at Memorial Park where Trent and I took our engagement pictures. Then we went out to lunch and enjoyed watching the new Disney "Cinderella" movie. After the movie Trent bought me some famous gourmet popcorn from a store nearby...because I love popcorn so much. Then we picked up this little guy and had an indoor camping night/movie night. He got a  happy meal from McDonald's and was able to pick out a special treat at the store. It was an enjoyable finish to our great "Staycation"

He even got to eat his happy meal on the towel covered couch ;)

So fun to have the bed moved from our bedroom to the living room for our movie night...its the simple things....
