This was one of our last stops on the trip. Trent and I came here on our honeymoon like three years ago. We thought it would be fun to visit again. It is such a pretty place.
We must have come at the wrong time of the day. None of the seals were beached on the rocks like they were last time. Oops. At least we saw some birds...lol.
We found a few fun things down by the coral reef. Tanner wasn't too impressed. He wouldn't touch them...hahaha.
In the evening we went to a "Glass Beach." It was sort of cool in a weird..."I can't believe we used to throw glass into the ocean like it was a dump" sort of way.
Tanner thought it was so fun to throw rocks into the water. We had to be careful to teach him that he should pick up the rocks not the glass. Most of the glass was worn down enough that it wasn't a big deal but there were a few pieces here and there that were sharp and we didn't want Tanner to pick one up.
This is my all time favorite picture! He looks so cute...even with his little scab on his nose.
Our hotel included a free game of mini golf. Tanner only lasted about 8 holes and then I decided it would just be easier for me to take him back to the hotel and get him ready for bed instead of trying to keep him entertained and out of the water on the course.
You can't really tell, but Trent is standing behind the bring trying to keep his feet from getting in the water. This course had water everywhere!!!
Trent, Andy and Ashlee kept playing mini golf...while back at the hotel....I might have been spinning Tanner round and around in circles on the chair to get him to laugh. Before I put him down to bed of course ;)
The next morning we ate pastries from the continental breakfast in our room. Tanner thought this was pretty much the coolest thing ever!
And of course you have to put your fruit-loops on the hot chocolate straw...just for fun...silly boy!
