We were able to go to Temple Square as a family. Tanner seemed to really understand a lot about Jesus and the Christmas Story. Trent told him that the shepherds cane was a "candy cane." On our way home Tanner kept talking about the shepherds and their candy canes....haha. Thanks dad!
I love my boys!!!
We went to the free family Christmas Sing Along at the Energy Solutions Center. Dad, Trina, and her kids made it too. It was great to sing Christmas songs and visit. Santa even showed up!
"Here Comes Santa Clause"....
Tanner decided to have the gingerbread boy wear his shoes :)
The Saturday before we headed to California to visit Trent's parents I tried to spend some time with Mom and Dad Parkinson along with Trina and her kiddos. She was kind enough to teach me how to make toffee and fudge. The boys enjoyed liking up the leftover fudge...lol.
Here is Tanner enjoying his early Christmas present from the Sharp family. He really enjoyed it!
The dragon I crocheted for my nephew Kia.
Tanner trying to help wrap Jared and Heather's family presents.
This is an owl hat I crocheted for a neighbor who just delivered a new little girl.
We enjoyed a lovely Ward Christmas Party. Trent and I even played a piano duet together.
Haha...we sort of tried to take a family picture.
I also was able to take Tanner to our Santa Village event during my break from volunteering as a Resident Council Member. A huge thank you to the AWESOME ladies in my ward who helped me watch Tanner while Trent was gone at work so I could pull this off.
We hired Aunt Ginger to be Mrs. Clause at our event. She did an awesome job telling some great stories!
Santa gave Tanner a new disguise. I love this picture...doesn't he look so cute?!!
