We did way too many activities this Halloween. There are just too many of them to go to. It is hard to decide which ones you will do and which ones you wont do. Next year though I think we will simplify. Only one over thing in addition to Halloween night.
First we went to a Halloween Mom's Club Party they had here at our community center. They had some fun crafts and games to enjoy.
We love the Frecklton's! They are such great neighbors and friends. Tanner loves his time with them in nursery and he sure loved their truck full of leaves. What a cute idea for a trunk or treat!
I LOVE my boys!

First time EVER dressing up as a themed family. I must say it was pretty fun! We enjoyed the stake trunk or treat about a week before Halloween.

Then we went to the Fright Fest at the Union building on campus. It was great...and all for free of course. Tanner really liked the pony ride.
Then we joined the cousins for a kids eat free breakfast on Halloween at I HOP. It was fun to meet up with Trina and some of her friends and get out of the house. Afterward we went to "The Sweet Tooth Fairy" to get a free cupcake for Tanner. Another Halloween FREE treat for kids.
Then to top it off we enjoyed a wonderful Halloween with Grandma and Grandpa Parkinson. We invited them to our home. For dinner we enjoyed, pumpkin chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, eggs, and hash-browns. Then Grandpa joined Trent, Tanner, and me as we went Trick-or-Treating. Tanner loved getting "candies." It was darling. He would knock on peoples door and say "ding dong." He tries to combined the knocking and the doorbell ringing together...lol. Afterward we put tanner to bed and made soft caramel to dip apples in. Fun times! Halloween was great...next year though, I think we will keep things a little more simplified and just enjoy one, maybe 2 things in addition to Trick-or-Treating.
