We had a great time at the Westonskow Reunion this year. The Loveridge side was in charge of planning this years reunion and it was fun to help be a little part of that. We enjoyed camping at Altamont Campground in American Fork Canyon. It was beautiful. Trent and I made it up there Thursday evening and were able to stay until Saturday late afternoon. It was great to have Trent take time off of work so we could enjoy some time together as a family. We enjoyed the camping, the games, the visiting, and even the canoeing (we didn't get any pictures of the canoes though). All in all it was a Blast!
Tanner loved, I mean loved, the twins scooter's. I told Trina I was going to bring Tanner's lion so he could ride around, and I mentioned she might want to bring up bikes for the kids so that the three boys weren't fighting over the lion. In the end, Tanner just kept trying to ride the twins scooters so they ended up being the ones who shared...lol. Anyway, Tanner couldn't ride those scooters enough! He figured out how to ride it on his own after a while. If ever we couldn't find him around camp we just headed over to the parking area and we find him riding that scooter all around.
Tanner had a blast playing with all of his cousins!
We enjoyed a small hike with the kids. On the way, Tanner insisted that he sit down on this rock ;) We joked that we should call it "Tanner"s Rock."
We used water to paint on the sidewalk. Who would have thought! The things you can find on Pintrest!
Hahaha, the twins and Tanner are still trying to learn how to share. Love the expression on Tanner's face in this one!
Tanner was a marshmallow again. We always place like 5 pairs of pajamas on him when we camp.
Tanner's brown hoody is showing in the corner of his playpen. This is him under layers of blankets.
While Tanner was sleeping Trent and I enjoyed making "Woofims" around the campfire with family. With special sticks you can brown a biscuit into the shape of a small cup over the fire. Then you add pudding or canned fruit feeling into the cup and top it off with whipped cream. They were so YUMMY!
We also played a ton of games during the reunion. Aunt Becky and Uncle Larry did a great job getting games prepared for the little kids. They had fun prizes too! the kids loved it! One of the big hits was the Cheetos toss. I also planned a few of the games. One of which was called "hose head." To play you put the end of a knee high with a sock in the bottom on your head. The kids try to take each others off and the last one with theirs on their head, wins. The kids had fun with it.
Larry and Becky made 25 jars filled with prizes. Some had candies and others had toys, but whoever guessed closest got the prize. Tanner guessed (with the help of dad) closest to the amount of money in the cupcake bank.
Tanner and Dad with their prize!
We had a full packed car. This is Tanner in the back seat on the way home. He is surrounded by coolers and pillows! Great times!
